Fishing report title: Sometimes there's a location, sometimes there's not - that's fine, but I think it should always have a date. :)
I jammed over to the Cape around 2:30, got on the beach at 3:20, and was wetting a line right before 4PM. The water had lots of brown to it due to the Mattole's heavy outflow a few miles south, but the quality was not bad overall. With a 16' swell just destroying everything from the outer reef out about a quarter mile (!), I had only a few options for fishable water during the minus tide. Got a few taps and broke off one sand bag and rockcod rig in the kelp, but I didn't mind at all because the really nice part of the afternoon was the very light wind and ample sunshine. Even had my shirt off! OMG, I needed the 3 miles on the beach, and the hour of getting a few bites was just fine too. :)
Now for a test of how well the attachment features work. ;D

I've got a bunch of pics I want to put up, but it says the limit is 192 KB - that seems low. The photos I use have been taken down to 600x800 - that's the standard. I'll send a PM to Aaron about it.

See ya.

Very nice! I can't wait to get on the water! Think I will throw some lines from the Jetty next weekend.
-
Very cool! What did you have to do to get the pics up?
-
I re-shrunk them to like 480 or something...
-
...but even shrinking them that small I couldn't attach more than one per post!
-
Glad you got out bro!
